Katie Donar

Katie brings over 20 years of experience in education to her role at Strongoo, where she serves as a board member focused on social emotional health. Formally an elementary teacher, and currently working as a school social worker, she is deeply passionate about supporting the whole person—mind, body, and heart.

Katie holds a Bachelor of Education degree from Illinois State University, a master’s degree in education from Olivet Nazarene University, and a master’s degree in social work from Aurora University. She is a proud mother of two daughters and finds joy and restoration in reading. She is so excited to be working alongside her husband Joe, as he builds this community. Katie is committed to helping Strongoo grow into a place where everyone feels seen, supported, and empowered.
